DISCOVER-SEEKERS AND SKEPTICS FAQ AND WHAT IS ABOUT ALLABOUTGOD?

Seekers & Skeptics FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions Answered!
  1. Does God Really Exist?
  2. Get With the Times! Doesn't the Big Bang and Evolutionary Theory Explain Everything? Hasn't Science Removed the Need for God?
  3. Ok, if a Designer created everything, who created the Designer? What existed before the creation of the universe?
  4. Why did God create such a big universe, if all that matters is right here on earth?
  5. Why did God create in the first place? Was He bored? Was He lonely? Why did God go through the trouble of making humans?
  6. Why did God create evil? If God planned everything, why did He plan for really bad things to happen?
  7. OK, now you're using the Bible to tell me about God. Why should I trust that book as being something special?
  8. That's a pretty good approach to the Bible's overall credibility, but what about the established myths and legends? For instance, if the earth is less than 10,000 years old (as the Bible tells us), what about the star light that supposedly takes millions and billions of years to reach us?
  9. Then what about the dinosaurs? In light of what we read in Genesis, what is the real sequence of events regarding these creatures? If God created dinosaurs, why aren't they mentioned in the Bible? Was man on earth at the same time as the dinosaurs?
  10. Fine. But aren't there over 100 contradictions in the Bible that have been shown to discredit the Bible's divine inerrancy?
  11. You mentioned prophecies. Where's the evidence that the so-called "Messianic Prophecies" in the Old Testament weren't a bunch of "predictions" contrived after-the-fact by the disciples of Jesus? What would keep a group of religious zealots from writing a few "predictions" to give their religious guru some more credibility...?
  12. OK, nobody really denies that Jesus existed, but don't the scholars now have evidence that the Jesus of history was just a great teacher and prophet?
  13. So, are you saying Jesus was God, or are you saying He was a man?
  14. OK, then why this charade of God in human flesh to communicate His word to us? Why not just appear?
  15. Those are credible arguments for Jesus, but why do Christians say that Jesus is the only way to heaven?
  16. Wait. Why can't God be different for different people in different cultures? Why does the God of Christianity have to be the only way to heaven when there are other sincere religions?
  17. Can people who have never heard of Jesus be saved? If Jesus is the only way to heaven, what happens to those who are never introduced or exposed to Christianity? Why do some people have an "unfair disadvantage" to receive salvation?
  18. Slow down. I've heard there's more to it than this. Isn't there only one correct way to believe as a Christian? Which denomination is the right one?
  19. Wow. So even if I've done some pretty bad stuff, I can still be a Christian? What else do I need to do in order to go to heaven when I die?
  20. And if we don't accept this free gift, is there really a hell? If so, what's hell really like?
  21. But how can an all-loving God send anyone to Hell?
  22. What about children, babies and aborted fetuses? Where do they go when they die?
  23. Hold on. Now that I'm thinking about children, I realize I still have a problem with all the suffering I see in the world. You just told me about a perfectly loving God, but you didn't explain why He allows so much pain and suffering?
  24. OK, one more time. Why did God give people, including Adam and Eve, free will if He knew that we would mess up, make the wrong decisions, and ultimately reject Him?
  25. It's getting clearer! So, what's at the core? What really is the meaning of life?
  26. I may not understand it all, but I guess the basics make sense. What does all this mean for me? What's my purpose in life?

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

ABOUT ALLABOUTGOD

About Us

We write compelling websites that reach out to skeptics, seekers, believers, and a hurting world with powerful evidence for God and the Good News of Jesus.

We believe truth transforms lives. Therefore, we place our content on the first few pages of the most popular search engines in the world. That way, when people seek answers on the Web, we're there with the truth at the top!

We are followers of Jesus. Like Jesus, we reject many of the issues found in “organized religion” (man-made attempts to reach God through rules and rituals). We consider the personal pursuit of God as paramount in each of our personal life journeys. We also believe that ultimate, saving Truth is found only through God’s Son, Jesus Christ. (Read our Faith Statement here.) We believe that the authoritative and primary source of that truth is the Bible as illuminated by the power of the Holy Spirit. Further, we believe that spiritual growth occurs in combination with being in God’s Word consistently and dealing with the things we suffer in this fallen world while being in fellowship with other believers where there is an atmosphere of grace, love, and accountability.

Although we're not formally affiliated with any organization or denomination, we work with a number of credible ministries and churches. Read what some of them are saying here.

AllAboutGOD.com is a service of All About GOD Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation located in Belen, NM. Currently, we have a very small team and a much larger number of volunteers. Formal governance is maintained by an outside Board of Directors.

Our current donor base is primarily individuals and entrepreneurs with a heart for cutting-edge, culturally-relevant ministry. If you feel led, we'd love to have your support. We pray and work to be as cost-effective as possible. Last year, every one dollar bill we received and spent resulted in at least one person making a first-time decision for Jesus!

Simply, our mission is to share the Good News with the Globe via the World Wide Web!

As always, everything here is FREE!

If you feel blessed, please consider giving a tax-deductible gift to help us continue this outreach & equip other people. We were able to reach out and help you because other people gave of their time and money so please "pay it forward" if you can.

For every single one dollar bill we received and spent last year at least one person just like you told us of their first-time commitment to receive Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior! That's what we call getting an eternal bang for each and every buck! So if you can, please donate at least $1 right now to ensure one more person like you and me will be in Heaven with us! Thanks!

AllAboutGOD Results: From May 2002 to December 2019, AllAboutGOD.com saw 362 million gospel presentations, with 2.8 million people indicating decisions for Jesus and 120 million discipleship engagements from every country in the world! We now see the majority of those who reach out to us, get connected with a local pastor, so they can grow to live like Jesus in a local Christian community. All praise be to God alone who grants us favor on the web and gives the increase!

OUR FAITH STATEMENT

Although our ministry style often caters to wary skeptics, our group's foundation is based on Jesus and solid Christian doctrine.

Therefore, We Believe
  1. The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God - a supernaturally integrated set of 66 books, written by 40 authors, over nearly 2,000 years.

  2. God created all things - from the massive cosmos to the microscopic cell.

  3. We were created in God's image, yet we were all corrupted and estranged from God after Adam fell into sin. The sin of Adam was the entry point of all sin, as well as physical and spiritual death on Earth.

  4. God exists as three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  5. Jesus Christ is the Son of God who fulfilled Old Testament prophecies when he took on human flesh through the miracle of the virgin birth and came to Earth as the promised Messiah.

  6. Jesus died a physical death on the cross as the ultimate love sacrifice and act of grace, which allows all who believe in Him to be cleansed of sin by His blood and have a renewed, eternal relationship with God.

  7. Jesus rose from the dead as the ultimate sign of his deity. He ascended to heaven, with the ultimate promise of his return to Earth as our just and mighty Lord.

We constantly strive to be a Spirit-filled ministry, regularly praying and seeking God's guidance for our activities. We remind each other daily that this is God's work, not ours.

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6 KJV

THE IMPORTANCE OF NAAMAN'S BATH IN RIVER JORDAN-

Today's Scripture 2 Kings 5:9–14 (NIV) Insight The Jordan River, where Naaman was told to “wash [himself] seven times” ( 2 Kings 5:10 ), was the primary source of water in the ancient Near East and is the most well-known river in the Bible. The melting snow of Mt. Hermon in the north is the main water source for the river that winds for 156 miles through the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea and has no outlet.  Joshua 3  records the parting of the waters of the Jordan so the Israelites could enter the land of Promise. Twice the waters of the river were parted in  2 Kings 2  when they were struck with the cloak of Elijah (vv. 8, 14). In the New Testament, John the Baptist baptized believers in Jesus and even Christ Himself in the Jordan ( Matthew 3:6 ,  13–17 ).
